Meet the Church Staff

  • Fr Aidan was born into a clergy family and grew up in Worcestershire. Having read Modern Languages at Durham, and studied at the College of Law, he spent 6 years living in the Stepney Episcopal Area whilst working in Central London, worshipping at S. Peter’s London Docks. He trained for Ordination at S. Stephen’s House Oxford, and spent 6 months at the Venerable English College in Rome during this time. He served a curacy at Our Most Holy Redeemer Clerkenwell and S. Mark’s Clerkenwell, before becoming Priest-in-Charge at Holy Trinity in April 2024. He is married to Elizabeth, who works in higher education, and they have a son and a daughter.

  • Fr Stephen started working as a part-time assistant priest for the parishes of Holy Trinity, Hoxton, and St Chad’s Haggerston after Easter 2025. He is also the Fulham Dean of Mission.

He grew up in County Durham, and worked as a civil servant in Durham before training for ordination at Chichester Theological College. He served curacies in South Shields and Hartlepool before taking on his first incumbency in Loftus in Cleveland. He then went on to become Shrine Priest at the Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham, and then became the Parish Priest in Enfield Lock, and the Area Dean for Enfield.

He is married to Judith, who is a retired Primary School Teacher, and they have two adult children and one grandson.

  • Madeleine is the newly appointed Parish Operations Officer. She works 28 hours a week, primarily doing administrative work for Holy Trinity, Hoxton, and the close-by parish of St Chad’s, Haggerston, where she is also a Fidelium rep. Alongside working for the Church, she is also completing a part-time Master of Research degree in Social Anthropology at the School of Oriental and African Studies. She hopes to go on to pursue a doctorate in Anthropology. Having grown up in rural Norfolk, moving to London has been a big change, and so she is often found in parks reconnecting with nature. She spends her free time knitting, growing orchids, and reading Barbara Pym novels.
